I thought I'd make a quick post to update anybody who has read my other posts concerning our project protege.

We had a small problem with our EGR valve setup but have fixed that, headers are wrapped and we're going to the dyno in about 3 weeks before our trip to FL.

The car is feeling a lot more responsive with the recent modifications. We are an authorized dealer for Sun Auto(maker of the Hyperground and Hypervoltage systems) and as such will be installing their systems on our project car and doing a before & after dyno to send to them for their website. We are working on becoming their official reps for shows on the East Coast also and we are attending Tuner Bash to distribute information on the Sun Auto systems... if any of you are in the Daytona Beach area, please come by the show!

Again, we'll have all mods, dyno charts, etc on the site once the project's goals have been completed...we're nearing the 130whp goal..I can feel it,lol.

Thanks Dreeza..

..the grand opening was going to be on Feb 1st, but we got into talks with Sun Auto about this whole show deal and vendorship with them and got side tracked. If all goes well, the store should be functional by late this month, first of March. The only thing you can buy off our site right now is the systems that Sun Auto makes...the rest should be up soon.

I actually have seen your other posts. Where in FL is you shop going to be? I live in the Orlando area so Daytona isn't really too far so i was thinking about going to the show.

The store and offices are actually here in VA. We are traveling down to Daytona for the show..sorry I didn't clarify that.

But you should still swing out to the show, its a "walk-in" show unless your competing...

130whp? I am probably close to that. U r doin a project just to get those results? And the hypervoltage system is no better then an optima red top. Unless u can show me dyno results. I would like to know whats up with this ride and the competitions.

130whp ..wow those are some lofty goals

The goals are staged, and 130WHP is not the final stage. It began with just trying to get 110whp, then 130, then 150 and so on as stated early on by those who read the first thread when the project began. It is done this way to show what gains are achieved by what modifications. It would be a little ridiculous to put a goal of 200whp on this particular engine...especially considering the project is remaining NA, keeping stock wiring harness(but not original ES ecu) and is more of a typical project car, rather then a race-prepped or track-prepped vehicle. We have other projects to handle that(Rx7s to be exact...and as u probably know FC3Sboy..an rx7 requires more attention,lol)...

...We will have staged dynos of the modifications to show once the entire project is completed...

Yea, we actually got a deal going with a new somewhat local dynojet when we trying to find a new facility to dyno one of our other cars('87T2 Rx7) but they told us that they didn't have the straps to handle a FWD application. So we are going to purchase the straps from dynojet for them to use and let us get some free dyno time...or at leats, thats the current plan..I'll keep you all posted...
