wings west evo hood on back order???

hey i just ordered my hood the guy told me 4 weeks cause of back order then he called me today wings west is saying 2 to 3 months wtf is this true? and does anyone have the wings west evo hod yet if so post pics!

BTW, I ordered mine from NOPI last year, they told me it was on back order and should take about 2 to 3 months. SEVEN months later, still no hood. Luckily, Mitch from Protege5online had a canceled order whos hood came in. So i canceled my order with NOPI and got the one Mitch had in his warehouse. I paid 750 shipped.

my friend waited for about 9 months for the CF hood for his Spec-V and they had a group deal too. Crazy stuff.

No one has them in stock as far as I have been able to find. Wings West underestimated the demand they would have for this product and they don't seem to have increased their production capacity to meet the demand. Now that VIS has there's going full swing at least there is another Evo option out their on the market.

WingsWest just recently introduced their 3D CF line. They mainly deal with urethane. Since they are starting from scratch with the CF project, it will take awhile to get up and running, especially since they are making so many new CF pieces.
