aftermarket headlights

what options do i have for aftermarket headlights for a 02 dx? im thinking i want some jdm blacks(if they exist) to get rid of the amber lense section and clean up the front end a little. not a big fan of the amber lenses in headlights. i can barely stand having amber bulbs in there. anyway, its the law.. blah, blah, blah. any input or advice is greatly appreciated.

i was planning on removing my amber things and putting in a clear reflector instead...

and im not sure about the jdm blacks...i personally like HIDs

1. there are no aftermarket headlights made for any protege as of now.

2. every 'jdm' black that you have seen either came from the factory like that (03's and MP3 and MSP), or have been modded by the owner.

3. according to many many traffic codes in the US, you are required to have amber turn signals.

4. yes, the amber reflector is removable giving you that 'jdm' look youve been wanting. p5's however come with dual beam headlights with no side reflector, looking much cleaner.

5. imo white light or hyperwhite ricer bs turn signal bulbs are not only a hazard, but stupid.

i dont think they do...

what about the paint your headlights thing?? there's a how-to on that

The P5 housing will fit a sedan, but you'll need new wiring harnesses for the bulbs.
If you want anderboy, i can help you take out the amber pieces, i hated them too, and got rid of them like a month after i got my car.

I think you would need to replace front bumper in order to put p5 headlights.

nope, p5 headlights fit sedans and vice versa.

the best way to swap is to actually trade with someone, that way you can swap harnesses too. some basic wiring is required, but all in all there is 1 H7 bulb for high beams and one for low beams, both are never on at the same time.

yeah i was doubting myself on that too, but i believe they are, or one could be H4... correct me if im wrong, but i researched it a while back, and im beginning to think that they are in fact H4 and H7.

Well I was gonna buy just the passenger side one from lamp, cause mine is sorta scratched and cracking, and he was gonna sell it for 50 shipped... (lowball offer)
