I was doing my MIL install & we disconnected the 02 sensor cable as instructed in this thread:
http://www.msprotege.com/vbb300/showpost.php?p=432521&postcount=6
Then we spliced the MIL in using those quick connecters sold by 3M that have the metal "blade" that prevents you from having to actually splice. I know we did the wiring right because I checked it several times & after finishing, we wrapped it in electrical tape & hooked everything back up. Reconnect the battery, alarm goes off (as usual), deactivate alarm, turn key (we still get power), & nothing. There is still a click when you turn the key, but it doesn't turn over...just like it's dead, only it isn't.
T3ase thought maybe it was a fuse, but we checked the engine fuse inside & it's fine. I didn't do anything else to the car other than rotate the tires while it was jacked up. PLEASE HELP!

Try closing all the doors and rearm the alarm. Then disarm the alarm and open the door and try to start it again. You might have already tried this, but it's happened to me before with the stock alarm and kill switch, and this worked for me.

*bump* for helping Black. I have no idea why it wouldn't turn over after just installed the eliminator.

haha, I did the exact same sequence of events that he listed, and got the same click with no start.
When the alarm goes off, it activates the kill switch. If you don't manually rearm the alarm with the doors closed and then disarm it, the kill switch will remain engaged.

yeah, it's alarm
to all the people who will read this thread later:
after you reconnect the battery, the alarm will sound.
make sure u have the doors closed when u reconnect the battery,
dissarm the alarm, dont touch the doors,
then arm it,
diss arm it again,
NOW THE CAR WILL START.
