i dont hear any rattling inside the car, but when i pop the trunk and listen to it it kind of rattles, i dunno if there is something around the sub or if the subs is blow, not sure

my license plate rattled until i put a little bit of cardboard behind it and tightened the screws. that might be it.

my sub is completely torn all around the edges so it doesnt even work anymore. are they covered under warranty?..maybe the bass was too high?

subs are covered under warranty.

its not the license plate. rattiling coming from sub area when heard from inside trunk. sub does work when radio is on. i hear bass (not from other speakers)

it could be the bar thing on the amp. i stuck a coaster between it and the amp to stop rattling. otherwise, there might e something loose above your sub.

Your sub is blown. Rip it out and get something different, the stock subs are horrible. I have 2 Image Dynamics IDmax subs on the way :)

im custom makin a thin wedge shape box to mount in the stock ocation...gonna have two 10s and a better amp :) the subs are on massive backorder....i ordered mine last month....stil nuttin from the dealer :(

The whole plastic cover under the rear windshield rattles like a bitch in my car ever since Mazda switched out my whole box for a refurbished one after my sub stopped working. I have tightened everything back there but cant get rid of the rattle. It sounds like crap...I am going to make sure they give me a whole new box eventually.

i plan to do all Kenwood components in my car. in my last car i had all pioneer. had 2 12s, tweeters etc. i plan to upgrade all, but not now cuz $ is tight
