Hey all what's up... I have a custom cat back HKS carbon Fiber exhaust with 2.5inch pipe, I was thinking of getting a apexi 2.5 downpipe with high flow cat. will this set up make the car really loud. Because I live in CA, and you can't have your muffler too loud. Also is there a sliencer for the HKS carbon Fiber muffler? Do you think it's gonna help alot on reducing the sound of the car?

i wouldnt think so the hks mufflers sound nice and deep.

you will probably get a slight increase in noise volume but probably nothing drastic. i'm not sure if they have a silencer...but a silencer will help most definitely.

On FI cars, the turbo acts as somewhat of a muffler anyway.

I have a 3" exhasut with the HKS carbon titanium with 2.5" downpipe. Car is loud. From teh sound sof your setup you'll be using a high flow cat. That will help dampen the sound and thats something I'm looking into getting aswell.
