My check engine light came on a day after I got my guages put in. I have a Autometer boost/vacum, oil preasure, and air fuel. I have a catless apex downpipe with a O2 sensor for it so that my check engine light doesnt come on. The air fuel guage hooks up to the O2 sensor and I was wondering what you guys think... Do you think that the guage isnt hooked up right? Thanks

If there's a vacuum leak for a prolonged period I think it might throw a CEL. I'd get the code red at a place like Autozone...so you can find out exactly why it threw the CEL and go from there.

yea, go get the code read at autozone, it'll at least help you find where to start

Dude, I went a bought a code reader and it paid for itself the first time I used it. The EGR valve pressure sensor on my truck went out and w/o the reader it would have cost me like $300 to fix. Did it myself for $50. The OBDII reader I got was from autozone and was $150.

heloooooooooooooooo I just posted a thread about how this happend to me too. Get your code checked like I did. Like in my situation it could have been your o2 sensor going bad or even the MIL.

Here is my thread:
