Newbie Questions

Hey I've had my MP3 since last august but havent done anything to it and the import shop doesnt seem to know to much about the car cuz' when I went in they debated with me that it was a van... well I was wondering if anyone makes some headers like DC or anything and if anyone makes a really good exhaust system. I just picked up the Injen Intake and a streetglow undercarriage light kit. The street glow is tight.

The only headers out right now are AWR's and HP Racing. Niether one have been tried out yet, although i believe mp3girly has ordered a set of the HP's. One of the better exhaust systems out is the Bosal cat-back which you can get from protege5online.com. BTW if your shop thinks you're car is the MPV and will actually debate it with you, then i think you need to find another one, especailly since it will take some time digin around the aftermarket for good parts.

one other thing about the headers is that neither of them are CARB approved....as you know they will remove your cats....however...they don't or MAY NOT have the fittings for the sensors either....which means an instant CEL (check engine light) so you might want to think about that as well....at least check on them in that respect before buying one.
