oh that brings up a question i had, i got a new clutch, pressure plate, and fly wheel put in a couple of weeks ago, mazda said they were the same as the mazdaspeed parts, are the mazdaspeed parts any diff?

why would they, they have nothing to do with timing or anything? other than timing your engine is the same as any other NA 2.0l protege engine

i thought underdriving the main pulley hurt the engine, there was a thread bout it awhiole back

Pulleys have caused problems in the past with the altenator and water pump..Not exactly the safest method. I don't think the MSP parts are any different..You should of just gotten an ACT stage 1 clutch and a fidanza fly wheel. Definetly what I'm going for.

UD pulley is bad for the FI cars, you should be fine. Tons of P5's i know run UD pulleys.
