CP Racing is pleased to announce the completion of development of our triangulated strut tower brace for the MazdaSpeed/Protege 5/MP3/3rd Gen 1999-2003.5. Designed to replace the factory brace and strut attachment brackets. Constructed of lightweight high strength steel tube and is of solid construction, no joints to flex or pivot. Bar bolts to firewall for maximum rigidity and strength. Easily installed without major disassembly or down time with basic hand tools. DOES NOT require alteration of any engine or under hood components. Comes with detailed installation guide and all necessary hardware.

Great product, great price, now.... can it come in something other then sky blue? =/

If it were any other color, I'd buy it. I'm just not a blue fan, I bet others are though.

The bars can be ordered in black, blue, silver or red colour.

Great Product, i have the same thing from them for my RX-7. i totally recomend them. The only problem, is that you have to drill holes in the firewall, to mount the bolts.

hey do you have to do this on the protege as well? $150 shipped is not a bad deal.

the stock bar is very weak. compaired to my chromemoly rear strut brace, the front bar is like jelly

wuts it do the the car and driver. i mean it doesn't make much of a difference if ur a daily driver right?? ... iun see how it would make a huge diff unless im autoxing but i dun have that brace so i wudnt kno the diff of feelin

daily driving = minimal. but you should notice it when you start to push the car through the mountains / autocross

before i put my bar up for sale, will i need my (cruise control) brackets for this new bar?

nope if you see the entire bar "is" your bracket. it bolts right up and appears to be one piece, but it is actually 3.

in simple words, they dont use your old brackets. sell it with your bar.
