What can be modded on a car without voiding a good warranty on my car? I know appearance stuff works, but in terms of the actual performance... what can I mod and what can't I?

You can usually get away with a SRI or CAI, better plugs and wires, brake pads, rims and tires, etc. Not much. Any kind of ignition box and pulleys will void it at most dealers and be careful with exhaust. Of course all of this depends on the dealer.

lets put it this way: anything you can return to stock before you take it into the dealer.
and it has also been stated that doing performance mods (unless you have a TON of money and are serious about making it a drag car) are pretty much useless and a waste of money, as the mods will give you the most power in the high RPM's, which your auto tranny will shift far before that point.
mod'ing autos are really disappointing for that very reason :(

My suggestion..is a Short ram Intake...Pretty Easy to install..And just as easy to install...
Also..a carbonfiber hood w/ ram air scoop..will definetly add some pep..

my dealer is pretty leniant, even offering the essentialspeed.com FMIC upgrades, your best bet, is go to your dealer, and ask them what you can do to your car without voiding the warrenty. Good luck, and hope you allowed to do, what you want to do.
