exhaust question

Going to custom make my exhaust and was wondering how an 02 dx protege would sound if you got rid of the huge ass resonator and replaced it with a glass pack or an inline muffler of some kind and ran some pipe to the back with a wicked ass exhaust tip?

cant have that now can we. keep the resonator and find somewhere else to mount an inline muffler? would that sound ok?

i dont see why you want to spend the money on custom exhaust and ghetto out a resonator..do it right and it wouldnt bother you later

glasspack dont last too long as far as i know.

get a quality resonator with the proper outlet and inlet size.

if you going for 2.25inch piping cat back then get a 2.25 inch core size resonator then a matching size muffler.

i have recently decided to do it the right way. get a bad ass header and a nice catback exhaust and call it good. i looked underneath my car and decided that it would be a pain in the ass to make my own exhaust. cat back all the way.
