Just got done washing, drying, windexing, armor all'ing, and waxing my car this afternoon. I'm a little worn out, so could you tell me where, and when... cuz I can't find that "Official Flyer" ... also, what's this about? I'd like to read all about it. Anyways, thanks. Laters, I really need a large glass of ice tea after a quick shower. :)

Linux wouldn't miss this one.
He would love to meet Diane.
I bet you he will bring his new love, the girl with the corvetter.
Vroom-vroom. Maybe they will make passionate love in the corvette because he can't fit in the backseat of the MP3.

Pay her no mind Diane...I would have deleted that little post by her if I could as well, but wasn't able to. Hope you have fun at the meet and take lots of pics.

Hey Diane, it's this Friday? I mean, I tried going through that lengthy ass thread you referred to :D , but I didn't really get a precise clear date from all that mumble jumble postings. I thought I seen someone say it is happening this coming Friday, correct? And you would have to make reservations? Thanks for clearing things up here.
Is that "Heartbroken" person the same as AH? They finally banned her AH username and now she is back as HB?
I feel for ya, Linuxracr. Posts such as that would get on my nerves too.

Hee hee, yeah he's coming along for the ride. He wanted a RX-7 really bad (I went with him a while back to test drive a white "FC"), but couldn't find a nice reliable daily driver one within his budge (thus, succumbering to the dark world of Honda... LOL). You by chance furnish bibs there? He may be prone to drooling. :D
He's not brave enough to drive his girlfriend's car to the meet (and smart enough not to drive his '00 Si ;) ), but never know ... I may still be able to convince them before then.
If you see a 2001 silver Miata LS (with ALL options included  ) following a sweet yellow Mazda MP3, then I must have thrown a hell of a sales pitch to get it there. :p

Please convince them to bring the miata!!! If she comes, they HAVE to bring it!! it's Mazda only!! (althought there will be a couple of M5s there)
Tell her we are going to bring the miata!!

Man, the RX-7s there blew me away. I wish that the guy from "Protech" with that sweet silver RX-7 (and entire bodykit) would have popped his hood up so I could look at it.... but oh well, he looked a bit snubby by parking his car WAAAAAY over to his own corner. :p
I love the BOV sound when those RX-7s took off. Wished that exit road on to Burnet was a bit longer... LOL. Actually, I wish I could just buy something that does the same noise of a BOV and hook it up to my car so I can hear it every time I launch off from each gear!! HAHAHAHA. Awesome sound... but not every RX-7 had exhaust notes that I liked. Some sounded like a super high pitch lawn-mower (I'm not mentioning anyone specific :p)
Thanks for the invite, it was great to meet you and Greg (and some of the RX-7 owners such as "3 Rotors" hehe). Such nice folks! I thought about the cruise you mentioned for after the car meet, but I had agreed to make it to some karaoke club that evening after dinner... I wasn't planning on hanging out with anyone late because of the World Cup Finals.... sleep early, wake up early does a body good, right? Next time I'll have to make sure I can wake up early enough to cruise with the group so that I can actually see those RX-7s in action! hee hee. ;)
Hmm... you've see me before? I recall only one associate by the name Diane and she's not you, I don't street race or even race on a amateur level, I don't really hang out at any performance bodyshop (like Arthur did with his old Civic EX... LOL!), I'm not famous, not on any t.v. series, not even a good singer, and I'm not a wanted criminal (at least I don't think so... hehehe)....I USED to club hop a lot on 6th street... errrr, a few years now since I stopped getting stupid drunk to where I always think I could take on the bouncers at the clubs. :D
Mazda dealership? Unless you mountain bike and see me on the trails once in a while.... I used to hit the trails on the Green Belt a lot until it had too many doggie poop and people walking around... but I still go there once in a while so I can check out the hot babes at the Barton Springs pool during the summer.
Ahh... we orientals all look alike maybe?? LOL!!! :D
Don't forget about setting another meet for the fall (right?), I'll be waiting!!

No prob man! thanks for being the only Protege guy who wasn't intimidated by the might of the infamous RX-7!!:D

I can't think of her last name right now. Diane ... engineer for Thin Films at AMD on C-shift ... she's tall (oh... dunno... maybe 5'7"???) and skinny... has long curly blonde hair. Building 2 shut down recently, so she no longer works there.

Yeah, I remember a moderate downfall did develop shortly after I left.
