i live in pittsburgh but i stay a slippery rock university and they dont seem to know what salt or plows are and i really dont want a cai which is pointless on a turbo car, i used to have a 99 gsx and no one who owned a turbo dsm ever owned a cai so i dont know why they make they for the msp now, but i wanted to know where i can get an sri?

AEM sold us out & gave up on the SRI & Billet Design has had theirs "in development" for almost as long as I've owned my car. I'm starting to think that we may never be able to get one. :(

my advice would be to buy a few mandrel pipes and bends, a cone filter from somewhere like JC whitney and make your own :D

They just backed out saying it was cost prohibitive. I guess they're planning on adding another cold air intake, to a market that is already saturated with them.

you can buy a ingen cai and then convert it into a sri...very easy to do.

go down to local shop that does mandrel bends and tell them what you want. simple enough. or if you can weld, it's not exactly a complicated piece

Its not the fact that its "cold air intake" that is the advantage for the MSP's. Its the better flowing pipes. But then again, its proven that the intake before the turbo is VERY hot because the intake is almost right behind the radiator. So an air BOX would probably be best.

very easy....take the second pipe off(not the one connected to the turbo...put the filter on right after the MAF sensor..make a hole for the air temp sensor either on the pipe and put the grommet in or make a hole at the end of the filter before the MAF sensor and place the sensor in....your done
IMHO opinion a CAI is better, this from the butt-dyno from switching from sri to cai then back to sri and back to cai hehe but as for sound...my blow-off valve is louder with the sri version.

WTF.. Can we not have a pissing contest for once? Maybe? Thread closed.
Use the search. Insidious is even gauging interst for a SRI.
Edit: Posts deleted. Thread opened. If it gets off again, it will be closed again.

That's great, but they aren't making it. Billet Design or other custom option are your only choices.
