Boost Droppage

Yes...I said droppage:D

Anyway, I was driving around A LOT tonight and towards the end of the night I was looking at my boost gauge and it would slowly creep to 5 psi and stop. I normally boost just a hair over 6 psi. Do you think something is wrong, or could my turbo have gotten so hot that it was acting weird?

sounds like your intercooler has heatsoaked and your pipes were expanding a lot. i wouldn't worry about it. it shoudl run at 6psi tomorrow.

I noticed on these really cold ass nights in Michigan that I usually spike at just under 8 PSI!!!!!!! And I have not been flashed yet and have not touched the boost. Just wondering if anybody else is spiking at almost 8 PSI stock?????????

It's entirely possible. No worries. Enjoy the extra boost from mother nature. :)
