Hood Scoop?

Hey all! I'm debating on putting a hood scoop (resembling the Subaru WRX but not as extreme) on my 2002 Protege(soon to be converted MP3 with the wings west kit). I wanna know what you all think about how that would look. Oh yeah and is it just me or are the fender flares for the wings west kit gay?

Yeah i was considering doing that but i dont have enough $ for that. How much are they runnin for anyways 19g's?

Would the hood scoop be an actual part of the hood or would it be a slap on piece. If it's subtle and molded into the hood, it'll look cool. Or it might look cool.

Are you planning for the hood to be functional? Unless you got a turbo under there I'd have to say that it will get a lot of mixed reaction. Because of it's visibility, a lot of people will say that you are just trying to be WRX....if you actually had the turbo under there to back it up....it'd be a lot more reasonable.

If it's not functional(just a piece on top of the standard hood) I personally wouldn't like that.

A little while ago I saw a protege with a hood scoop and it looked pretty cool. It did not look like the hood scoop on the wrx though, it was different.

Yeah, I dont know. It would not be functional as of now, but when I get my turbo, then it would be. But yeah APEXistud
the scoop would be molded into the hood and subtle. Thanks for tellin me what you all think.
