I got tired of posting at the end of all those posts so I'm making my own, about the intercooler, I can get one for a little over 300$ and i was wondering if it'd fit and if anyone has the size/dimensions of it, let me know. plus how good a quality is it etc. I treid subscribing on srtforum.com and it says I'm under 13 so i can't post on there? thing's messed up. And if it'd require a lot of cutting and what not, I'm not getting it then, but it's pretty damn cheap. And this will be going onto an msp if it fits so please don't move it to another area.

i clicked on the on and before 1991 and it still says I'm under 13. which means i have to fill out a form and shit, too much hassal. but anyway, thankyou I still want the dimensions and quality? before I go and buy this thing, but i'm glad it'll fit though.

"Core is 24" wide 7" high and I think its about 2.75" thick. did not fit my ruller in there."
from srtforums.com. not too big, should be able to get it to fit with not much problem

sweet, I'm gonna order it then soon. And It should be able to EASILY handle the horsepower that the msp is putting out since the srt's are pumping out a lot more.

a fmic can be had for $225 shipped on ebay, why bother with a $300 used one?

used one? this is a brand new oem srt intercooler that I'd be ordering from the dealership I work at. Plus I hate dealing with ebay and I'm still uncomfortable buying shit off of there. Just me.

Keep us up to date on the project.
azian6er has a aftermarket spearco innercooler... and it looks damn sweet. Maybe you can swing him a PM on the dimension.

I'll continue to keep looking to see if I can find better deals, but you have to remember I'm gonna stay on stock boost. Maybe I'll have enough money a year or so from now to build the engine up but for now this intercooler seems like it'll easily do the job, and the measurements seem like it'll fill the air dam perfectly.
Azian, how much was your spearco.
Plust I want to have some money left over for a bigger radiator because I want to get rid of the stock i/c. So the cheaper the better for me.

does anyone know if that ebay intercooler will fit?? it would be 100x better than stock, so sexy the intercoolers are...

Azian, how much was your setup? Or just the intercooler, and what size pipes is recomended? Stock size or shoudl i try to go bigger? I don't want to loose any pressure though on stock boost.

what are some dimensions of itercoolers you guys are already using?

I have that ebay IC on my car. Fits very well under the bumper cover. Anything taller and you'd have to cut some of the bumper support out. Plus it bolts right up to already made holes in the bumper support :D

custom you have any pics of that IC on your car? I was thinking of getting that same one, how difficult was running the piping?
