Question about Navi [Archive]

I hear everyone say this is "DVD Navigation". So, where does the DVD go? We're going to be test-driving a car with navi in the next day or so(for my mom) and I'm curious if the DVD is to be put into the CD drive for the stereo or if there is a different drive for it?

Just curious!

It could be in the trunk or in the glove box. Try checkin there :D

It depends on the system. Why don't you ask the dealer who is selling the car. It's kinna like his job to worry about stuff like that, don't worry guy.

The DVD-based NAV system for the Mazda3 is located in the glovebox.

Excellent! Thats what I wanted to know guys!

I would have asked the salesman, but I didn't even think about it when I was there. I test drove a 3s 5-spd today, but my mom wants an automatic. The fully-loaded car they had wasn't ready yet, so we're going back tomorrow.
