one of the members here said it before the best..."if you got a watch, then you got a TT already"....but if you don't have the time to sit around and wait, a TT will save your turbo a bit for longevity

TT's are a waist of money. Our t-25 turbos are water cooled and don't really suffer coking problems. That is, unless you drive like a bat out of hell all day long and you're constantly on boost, then shut the motor off while the thing is just flaming hot.
But hey if it helps you sleep at night, then by all means get one. It's your money.

its got mad pimp factor. To walk out of your car have someone say to you "dude you left your car on" and then the car going off on its own.
I like mine. It is annoying sitting in the car for 30 secs after you drive. Thats a long time! when you are sitting there doing nothing.

My Blitz TT Dual TT (Boost Gauge / Turbo Timer) is nice because it is compact, and has both functions. I'm used to my turbo timer, and I always use it. You just have to remember to leave your car in neutral.

The water cooled part is only a backup system. The oil can still coke in there because the oil isn't flowing.

I have Apex-i TT, and love it. Weather or not the turbo is water cooled, the less stress you put on it the better.
