yes, the wing and the brakes fit. the mp3 is just a reg. protege with the racing hart stuff in/on it.

to put the rear brakes on i think you'd have to change out the rear hub assembly to mount the rotor and brake caliper on. someone correct me if im wrong here.

the mp3/p5/protege all have 5 lug.
i'm not sure about the hub assembly, but it def. makes sense. i'm sure its not as easy as removing the drums and putting discs on there.

Does your Pro have ABS ? If you do and want to convert to dics you might wasnt to research the ABS components and see if you need a new ABS computer or ABS servo blockm,Tone Rings, Mag. Pickup, and wiring . Also the Master cylindres could be different between disk and drum cars, becuase drums use less fluid then disks.

YES....some of the models have 4 lug...some have 5...not sure which is which...HOWEVER...if you have 4 lug..you CAN convert to 5...and put the discs on the rear....
the draw back is the cost...if you can find the stuff in a salvage yard you will be many bucks ahead...the calipers for the rear are HIGH DOLLAR at the dealer....
none the less...everything is bolt on. and if you are going to put the drums on the back...you would be goofy not to swap to the 5 lugs on the front too.

I forget exactly, but the four lug is an easy convert, and you don't have to go to five lugs to do it.
Check the Protege FAQ for info. The link is here:

The only models that are 4 lug are the 1999-2000 Protege's (ALL trim levels) and 01+ DX and LX models (with the 1.6 ZM engine I believe)

I've got an '01 LX 2.0L and it's got 4 lugs. Not sure if it's diff in the USA.
It sucks though....I was gonna get a set of P5 wheels off of a guy, but alas, 4, not 5 lugs :(
But if I'm reading this right, it's easy to switch to 5 lugs??

Hmm..maybe it's only the ES models then. You can probably get an adaptor from 4-lug to 5-lug, but it will probably make your wheel stick out some more since you will have more of an offset. I'm not sure where to look for them but maybe someone here knows.
