If anyone that has installed 17" or 18" wheels on their pro5's could you post the pictures?

I am having a hard time deciding what wheels to get. I currently like the 17" ADR Kasai wheels in chrome. Any ideas?

Thanks,
pro5

check out the AV and Sponser/ group buy section.

Rishie -> autornd -> has a group buy on 17s.

The downshifts are available now and the
actions have 2 signed up and need 3 more.

but you should really ask in the tires/rims section.

SPRFLY
07-14-2004, 11:28 PM
well, if i do that it will cost more to get the yellow to match the car.. and i was also thinking of chrome for the valve cover!! and then painting the "M" and the "mazda" red..

Giallou P5
07-14-2004, 11:28 PM

Question maam. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/9/web/621000-621999/621912_32_full.jpg

on the intake what is that BOX with the plug in it do, i never really got an anwser

protegeV

i would not do red, because the whole red/yellow thing is NOT good just because it looks good on ferraris...just dont look good...and you'll be hard pressed to find a yellow that matches the car, so go with cilver or blue

keep it simple, go black

SPRFLY

well, i don't know about the ferrari thing... but i think that the red accent's the yellow nicely.. myself.. there are so many yellow p5's in the dallas area, and yet they all look different!i would not do red, because the whole red/yellow thing is NOT good just because it looks good on ferraris...just dont look good...and you'll be hard pressed to find a yellow that matches the car, so go with cilver or blue

ummm.... the MAF is a stock part.... it just gets relocated to b/w the piping sections with the INJEN.

Yes that's true but, it still has to be used, because the intake doesn't come with it. same with the K&N..ummm.... the MAF is a stock part.... it just gets relocated to b/w the piping sections with the INJEN.

it's an important part or so i am told... it controls how much air flow the engine takes in.

<DIR>215/40/17 is what i have.. no rubbing for me.. but when i drop the car i think it may rub.. but i am thinking of haveing the wheels machined...meaning shaveing off a few milameters off the inside hub. or maybe just haveing the finder's rolled..hmm??(uhm)
