just got my new clutch, for free from the dealer

just picked up my p5 yesterday, new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and clutch cover, all free from the dealer, and i also got a ecu flash. my car runs noticably better. for some reason its a lot louder now. i duno if thats normal?? anyway this clutch is amazing, it grabs a LOT better than the stock one, even when i first got the car. its extremely noticable. anyway, i recommend everyone going in and getting this done. mine was completely free, i didnt pay one penny.

Why did you get a ECU flash ?.... you have a P5 if im correct? :confused: the flash was for the MSPs....

hahahahaha. Maybe it was one to change the timing on the P5 or something, but let'sa hope you didn't get the MSP flash. ANd why did you get a new clutch for free, and not a stock one too?

all cars have got factory reflash of pcms at some point or another they find something they want to change and have updated programing for cars . they dont necessarily have a big issue just ongoing refinements .

The new clutch is OEM parts too i bet..... its just the clutch chatter TSB fix.

i think i have it i hear a noise when i shift when i start taking my foot off the clutch!!!

yeah it was clutch chatter that i had, it was really bad this winter, last winter wasent that bad. anyway yeah the ecu reflash is just for 2 small things, like with the rpms or something, not anything big. and yes its a p5 one not a msp one, lol. anyway the clutch i got is OEM parts, and i dont know what they did but its amazing, just took the car out in teh snow and its amazingly easy to slip to get the car started in teh snow and it grabs much better than my previous clutch

Mine too. No flash though. The grab actually goes away a bit after a week or so on the fresh clutch. Still better than the first and no chatter as of yet. Very cool.
