Absolutely DO NOT use an additive for the MSP transmission. The friction modifiers are intended for a different application and will jack up the performance of our LS unit (per Redline engineers). Just good old 75W90 (or Redline MT-90) will be a fine replacement.

I don't believe any company that tells me their oil (engine or tranny) never needs changing, synthetic or not. I saw first hand, what happens when morons running "slick 50" and never changing their oil because "it never needed changing" looked like. It looked like pudding in the oil pan after 50,000 miles with a destroyed top-end. :bs: Plus the harder you drive, the more frequently you need to perform any kind of maintenance on vehicles.
My recommendation:
Redline makes very good products across the board.
Spend the $30 bucks every 30k and put fresh in. ;)

Just wondering, do you have to drop a pan or something on the tranny? Change a filter? Sorry, but I haven't gotten underneath the car, and the last tranny I messed with was a TH-400. Thanks, and sorry for the jack!

Our manual tranny's are simple drain and fill devices. No pans to remove like on an automatic. ;)

I'll be putting in BG Synchroshift and Kartboy bushings fairly soon... can't wait!

Remove drain plug...drain fluid...replace drain plug
Remove fill plug...fill until it runs out of the hole...replace fill plug
That's it. The only tricky part is refilling the transmission due to the angle of the fill hole. I used a simple $5 pump/tube from Autozone to do the job.
