Downpipe

Sorry about asking questions about whats better than what. I'm new at this, but I seen a thread that said most of you said that the first mod should be a downpipe. What is a good downpipe?

Im looking at a apex 3' downpipe no cat. It seems like a good price at 329.99. Plus they claim 10-12whp. the only other people that I know of that make a downpipe is ion but im not sure of their gains.

I have the Protosport DP and really like it. The turbo spools up a bit quicker and the car just feels more responsive off the line because of it.

If you go with a catless downpipe, get a MIL eliminator.

is there a downpipe for the msp that u can just open up when u wanna race so that everything escapes right at the downpipe?

You can get a sidepipe put on for pretty cheap at a muffler shop, or for free if you know how to weld.
