which exhaust should i get?

hey, i just got a couple hundred bucks for doin odd jobs and such so that puts my up around 900- 1000 bucks. i'm not lookin to spend all of it cuz i want to keep atleast 250 or so in my bank account. i'm lookin for a good turbo back or cat back exhaust with either no cats or high flow cats. i prefer 3 inch but a 2.5 will do. also i don't want anything that will sound ricy, i want i nice throaty sound. i heard the greddy evo was good but didn't hear too much about it. i'm also lookin for the exhaust with the most HP gains. thanks in advance for any input

You should do a custom one. My brother got 2.5 inch mendral belt custom catback exhaust for $290. It is very good quality and it made a difference. A downpipe would free it up much more.
