ok here is the deal.i took my fmic, mbc off so i can take it to the dealer to have the rear sway bar bushings replaced.when i started the car it reved to 1500 then died..i tried to start again and it ran, but the check engine light came on.so, i was in a hurry to get to my new years eve party and said f@ck it.as i pulled out i game it some gas and as soon as the boost tried to go above 0 the car acted like it was hitting fuel cut on and off really fast, or mis firing really bad.so i figure i forgot something..but i cant find anything i missed..any ideas?and yes i reset the brain..and yes it does stall on every first time i start it or turn the car completely off.

check the vacuum lines that you took off when taking out the mbc; it sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere

if we have a map sensor then check to make sure that that vacum hose is connected back. or whatever system on our car that reads incoming air... so i guess thats the maf

Sounds like your car's having a problem knowing whats going on, I suggest checking your maf sensor.

quick question... why would you go back to stock engine to replace sway bar bushings?
the two are in no way related, and service cannot be denied on your swaybar for a FMIC...
Anyways, it sounds like you popped a vaccume line

Toolebox, all the dealerships i have been to have noted what after market stuff i have in my car, even if its not related to what is being fixed. I had a cel from a pinched wire, but they noted my reverse indiglo gauges.

Perhaps you ingested some debris in your engine??

Doesn't it take some time for the computer to recognize the new setup? Maybe it's trying to setup with the stock stuff again. Give it a couple days and see what happens. Other then that I have no idea..
