With about 50 new acronyms created every day, I thought it might be nice to have a thread for reference. Please try to keep them clean and relevent to this forum. Here are a few to start:
BOV: Blow-off valve
FMIC: Front-mounted inter-cooler
ECU: Engine control unit
CAI: Cold air intake

SRI: Short Ram intake
PCM: Powertrain control module
SMIC: Side mounted intercooler (what we have in the MSP)
BPV: By-pass valve
MBC: Manual boost controller
EBC: electronic boost controller
FPR: fuel pressure reducer
FMU: fuel management unit
FCD: fuel cut defensor
EMS: engine management system (standalone)
FUBAR: Protege engine with too much boost on stock internals

UDP=Underdrive Pulley
I thoguht FPR was Fuel Pressure regulater, but Maybe I'm wrong.

AFPR - Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
