Isn't the best quality due to Mpeg footage...

It bolts to the downpipe. So it's longer than a cat-back. It's a total of 3 pieces.

Feel free to post a link in the MSP section if you want. I was going to post this in the performance section, but figured it'd get moved anyway.

Frikin site is down.

This won't work for the people with aftermarket downpipe huh?? I was looking for a cheaper cat-back too :(

SonicRacer

What downpipe? The Apex one that removes the cats? It may wowrk on there.. I'm not sure. You might be able to use this as a cat back and not use the 3rd pipe.

I'm not even sure, at this point, if the 'Power Series' system can be used as a cat-back. Meaning if it will bolt up to the stock cat.

doesnt this exhaust cost $589???
on corksports MSP link it states its $589 but on their regular protege link it states that its $389. seems like a mistake to me but does this mean that if i jump on it and order theyll have to honor the $389???

no no, this one is 389. take a closer look at the one for 589. It's still not available yet.

MSpeed

if not then how does the more expensive one differ?

the High-Boost exhaust is a larger diameter...

by 6 mm, corksport also told me they are going to be making this to fit the p5

corksport is infamous for selling stuff at really high prices, you guys feel it would be worth it from them rather then the protosport?

zmepro

How do you figure? $389 for a downpipe back exhaust? Made from mandrel T304 Stainless steal. There's not, and won't be a system on the market that will be near that.

ok guys, your clearly not seeing what im seeing... i know that there are two size exhausts, one is 60mm (the one we're talkin about) and the 67mm "hi boost". the 67mm exhaust doesnt have a price stated but the 60mm has a price of $589 stated on one page and of $389 on another.

here are both links... first one states estimated price of $589

http://www.corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex.php3%3Fcat%3D288105

and heres the one your all seeing for $389

http://www.corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex.php3%3Fcat%3D220745

now which price is accurate???

SonicRacer

What isn't there to understand? All the information is in the descriptions.

Those are two different product listings... The one for $589 is a turbo back. The one for $389 is not the turbo back. The system for $389 is the ONLY exhaust available to buy off the site.

The one for $589 is not even out yet, and the price is an estimate.

With stock boost, or perhaps a bit more than stock it should be fine... But these guys running like 10 or whaver, I'd say probably not.

The dyno will be the best source of info however. :) I'll be doing back to back runs w/ stock and aftermarket exhausts. That won't be for some time however.

It says in the description of the $589 one that it will be available in 60mm or 80mm for higher boost applications.
