Ok, so i was one of the last ones to get Spool's FMIC, and exhaust. Now I can't figure out who screwed up, me during the install or Spool during the fabrication.

1. I installed my apexi downpipe, then attached the rest of spools exhaust, here's the problem the exhaust sits 3 inches below the bumper hole,

and if I raise it, it hits the frame, look in the picture at the top of the s bend.

I'll probably go to a shop on monday and bend that s-bend back a little unless you guys have a better solution.

2. Now for the FMIC, here's what I got
1- throttle body pipe
1- turbo pipe
1- elbow
1- stretched elbow
1- intercooler
2- rubber 90 degree elbows

As you can see in the pictures I had to put my stock intake back in because the flange for the Greddy type s was welded too low and hits the injen without the valve even being there. I'll make something different with cold air still being there.
Now how do I put the piping together, I'm missing something, can't get from the throttle body pipe to the intercooler, and where do the rubber elbows fit. Someone help please.
And last question where does the intercooler mount, in front of the bumper support or from the back. Am I missing a piece?
Thanks
I appreciate any help.

nevermind, just being dumb, I had them on backwards, the short elbow is actually for the left side.
That's what happens when you have too much testastarone to read the directions.
Sorry Spool.

For your catback

that's how they designed it... it does stick out farther than stock. I saw it on another persons and it looks EXACTLY the same. No worries unless you have a prob w/ it :D

well i think it may have been designed that way so it does not melt the rear lip thing. I think someone installed a p5 exhaust on a msp and their exhaust was too close to the plastic and it got burnt.

I PM'd you. the way you have the pipes in the pic is correct, if you were sitting in the car looking at the engine.the intercooler kindof sits under the bumper support.

Thanks for your help, Apexi downpipe fit perfect, and the cel fix also worked no problem, I didn't drive the car yet but started it and sounds good.

the exhaust should not fit like that. bend the j hook hanger on the axle piece. and go to the auto parts store and buy you a universal exhaust hanger and drill i hole in your trunk . this will pull the exhaust up and make it 1/2 from the bumper. you may need to do alittle grinding to keep the exhaust from hitting. i did those things and it solved my problems. as for the fmic did you tell terry you had a aftermarket cai? thats your problem. you have all the pieces. the intercooler mounts to the front of the bumper support. you should have a daigram on hoe the fmic goes on. let me know if you need anymore help.

thanks justin h
