HEY I INSTALLED THE VALVE SAME ONE AS YOU AND I HAVE AN IDEL PROBLEM HOW DO YOU FIX THAT.. i HAVE THE SCREW ALL THE WAY IN ALMOST AND HAVE A STALL AT LOW RPMS OR WHEN I DOWN SHIFT.. i TRIED IT WITH THE SCREW PRETTY MUCH ALL THE WAY OUT AND THEN IT WOULD STALL JUST WHEN I TRIED TO GET OUT OF A GEAR SO WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD HELP AND LET ME KNOW YOUR SETTINGS... hAVE INTAKE AND CAT BACK EXHAUST BUT STILL HAVE STOCK INTERCOLLER AND STOCK BOOST.

Yes this was with the stock pipes open vented no stalling. I have the screw at a little past the middle.

Don't get the HKS then cuz it is a high pitch whistle open vented. I compared this to a RX-7 Clip and it whistles the same.
Of course it will get louder with more boost, hard pipe, etc. This clip was on a stock MSP setup using stock piping.

Ive been trying since yesterday to down load the clip and it will not do it for me. Im on cable and let it run about 30 min yesterday while I surfed around. :confused:

how did you attach the HKS to the stock pipes, and why do you not have the turkey with this setup and others do?

Sam! i got my HKS installed probably a month ago and i have never stalled out yet it is working great on my setup even though it rigged like a bitch! lol but i love the sound i need to make it louder because im not getting a loud noise but i am getting a noticable noise that people notice =)

Jernut - Custom flange kit I made a while back, I don't know why others have the sound and I don't. Maybe defective valves?

Mazdaspeedturbo - your valve maybe too long from the i/c piping
You want it closest to the i/c piping and the shortest vac line source.

I have the same BOV. HKS SSQV, with hard pipes. My car idles perfectly, in fact better than the stock system. But some of that is the K&N filter is relocated so the fan doesnt blow on it anymore.
My car only flutters if i dont build alot of boost, and shift slowly.
Also, my car does stall if you rev it up and then put it in nuetral or press the clutch in. I just rev match it down, and its fine.

sounds much quieter than my stock turkey with injen cai, maybe with a cai itd sound a lot better?? id have to say the turkey sounds better than a high pitched queef...
