all of Ion's staff is "Top Secret Stealth Technology" that only the FBI has access to it and since I am not a friend of Fox Molder or Dana Scully I guess won't see pictures.
I'll wait for AEM, just like I waited for my Thermal exhaust and soon the Apex DP.....

thanks for the pictures. It is sometimes frustrating because I keep hearing about how great Ion products are, but it is so hard to actually see pictures. I usually do not buy anything without seeing it first. Life also thought me to be careful about paying in advance.... Nothing personal.

I am about to buy Ion's CAI, but I have an install question. How do you hook up the BOV? I have the stock pipes.

Everything you need to hook it up is included. You just need to use the rubber hose and clamps and it hooks up just like the BPV hooks up in stock configuration. I am sure Jack will be more then happy to help you if you have any more questions.

would you mind taking a picture of your setup? I like to see how it looks with stock pipes and BOV. Thanks

Dyno Runs (Results from Turbo Magazine's testing on their Project MSP *THIS CAR IS UNFLASHED*)
*Note the baseline runs made were of the stock car running our stage 1 FMIC, so gains are on top of the gains from just the FMIC alone*
Shown here in Red is the best baseline run, all the other runs are the runs made after the CAI install. Notice how much power is gained all the way up to the peak power figure around 5700rpm. This is where the cams can't keep up.

so it looks like about 10 whp gain at 4500 rpm for just the cai? Turbo magazine dynoed the MSP after the just the FMIC and it made around 130 whp at 4500 rpm.

I just got my Turbo magazine. It has that one of the hoses did not fit the turbo inlet?? Has this been fixed?
Also, from the pisture in the article, I did not see where the BOV hooks up to. Can this intake be used w/out buying the Ion FMIC?

03MSPRO - the baseline that was done was after the installation of the FMIC kit. The redline shown is the baseline that was done before the CAI kit was installed. Then it was ran on the dyno immediately afterwards. So according to the chart, there's more then 10whp gained at 4500rpm.

The silicone hose sent was slightly too small, it was something out of the blue. It turns out that it that was the missing silicone hose for our other FMIC kit.

Yes the intake can be used w/o the FMIC.

Can you give us all some more detail on the ceramic coating option? I will be interested in including that on my FMIC when I buy it. Prices? Pictures?

Thanks Ion

ion,
where does the BOV hook up to? The picture in the magazine does show anything. Thanks.

btw, I was comparing the original dyno after they did the FMIC and the dyno after the CAI install. I find it hard to belive an intake will give 24 whp!!! wow!!
At first I thought the red line on the latest Turbo magazine was the baseline run.
