Does anyone recommend to put this on with the injen I installed my injen last night and before i put on the filter vit looked like there was water all around in there . I know not to drive through big lakes and puddles but does anyone have this on therees Thanks alot I also hate the turkey sound now its alot louder but my ion fmic is on its way to kill; the turkey Thanks alot guys

Did u ever hear of a company called "Outerwears" they make covers that go over cone filters..the make them for 4 wheelers n dirt bikes..but i don't think it matters...they will work...i used them on everywere 4 wheeler i had...works good..keep the dirt out too

Dude no need, how the hell is water going to get up there? Just don't go through any 12" standing water.

right...

Just take a look at the sopt the filter is in. It way high up plus there is plastic covering it on all sides.

yeah, it's not like there is a massive amount of vac presssure in your intake. You would have to submerge the intake in water, for more than just one second, it would be a couple before you would get water in the engine. If anything just put the bypass thing on. Splashgard=injen trying to make more$$$

EXACTLY!

If you messure from the filter to the ground, it's even more than a foot. ....and you shouldn't even be driving in that much water anyway.

i thought it wasnt good to put an intake bypass on a turbo

Yeah, in the winter, the splashgaurd might be ok, but nah, just check every now and then that your intake isn't coated in ice. The worst that will happen is you choke the engine, and stall. Then it's time for a good ol blow dryer.
