Went to a home center today to get a couple of small items and just look at the Christmas trees to see if they were selling decent ones. I planned to go back later and scratch up the roof of our minivan instead of my new P5. Well I wasn't impressed with the trees until I unwrapped one and just had to have it then.

I removed the antenna and placed some cotton towels (always keep them in the hatch to protect the inside or outside of the car when hauling stuff) on top of the car before I put the tree on the rack. It was so easy getting the tree on top compared to getting one on top of the minivan or an SUV. First time using the rack and it worked great.

I was tempted to snatch a pic and post it, but then I was thinking how my wife would tell me I'm a nut, and she would've been right. So you'll just have to put a tree on your car to see how good it looks. Very festive!

lol twinhead. Too bad you didn't get a pic, would of been great for the calander. Pic of the protege with a tree on top and snow all around would of looked good for december.

yeah..I used my MSP..and I was nervous as hell. I took a nice heavy blanket & had it double folded completely over the roof to protect. I didnt' get a scratch!

Well I'm thinking of getting a roof rack so it would have been nice to see it in action!
