will it?? i've been thinking, it's a cost efficient way, but not sure if it'll do any good or even if the bolt patterns are the same...

You would have to be doing some fuckin' crazy shit with your car to notice a diference with a rear strut bar. You might get better performace out of dumping a quarter of your gas on the road or kicking a passenger out. Sounds like Bling or Rice to me man.

i find my rear strut brace is very good. i would recommend getting it. it hold the back together really well. the car doesnt want to jump out as much on hard cornering

Alright, but it sounds like a placebo.

Ooooooh, twilight, what rear strut bar have you got, I'm looking at the Autoexe one right now, but Rishie didn't have any in stock. Are there others, or is yours custom?

You'd actually be surprised at what a rear strutbar can do for a cars handeling. Put on front and rear lower tie bars and a rear strut bar plus add sway bars. You would not believe the improvement you would get. I plan on doing these since i noticed a big improvement with my other car. Just need to talk the wife into letting me do it.

i have a custom rear strut bar. it's about 1" thick solid steel. there's no movement at all!
and it is more than a placebo

i had it made at a race shop that does roll cages etc. cost me $300aud - that's around $225usd at the moment.
here's a link to a zip file up uploaded for akhilleus with pictures of the brace etc : http://www.mazdamp3.com/members/twilightprotege/mp5.zip
