Rishie has confirmed that the Rota GB is a go, so I have until the end of January to sell my wheels. I'm looking to sell the rims only & keep the tires for my new wheels. All I need is enough $$ to pay for the new wheels, so I'm asking $650 shipped OBO.

Considering they retail for like $350 each from the dealer, I think it's a great price. Ideally, I would sell everything, but I have almost 7000 miles on them now. I tried to sell them before I even got the car so they would be brand new, but I had to wait for Rishie to start the GB. New tires costs like $400 minimum & I doubt I'd get enough $$ to afford new rims AND tires.

I think slug is right. You could find a better buyer outside the forum. I know they are a tad heavy but to the outside world those are limited production run Racing Hart 17's. Racing Harts sell for a grand a set usually(I remember it used to be alot more). If they are in good condition I bet you could get 750. Find a ricer.

I was curious about the weight because everyone told me they were heavy. I weighed one of them when I rotated my tires & I came up with 44lbs (including the tire).

The only problem with selling them to an outsider is that the offset is ridiculously high. Most cars with 5x114.3 run an offset in the 30s.

I know when i went in for new bushings this fall when everyone finished gawking at my 18s and my hood a few ppl asked me if i would sell em my stock wheels

hell it sounds like a dealership move to buy your set for 800 and put em on a p5 and jack the price up 2k or whatever.....

They have never been curbed or anything like that. The only problem I can find is 1 small knick near the bottom of the spoke on 1 of the wheels. You can't even see it unless you really look for it. Other than that, the wheels are mint. I have nearly 7k miles on the car, but they look brand new whenever I clean them.

They will definately fit, but the tire size you choose to go with could affect how well.

Not without a lot of work. They are 5x114.3 bolt circle while the Miata's are 4x100.

All of these pics are saved in 600x800, which you can see by adding .ORIG.JPG to the end of the url. As I have previously stated, the damage is very minor & only visible upon very close inspection.

My wheels are extremely dirty in those pics, but I cleaned them off just around the damage. My point is, those pics don't do an accurate job of showing how beautiful these wheels are & were only used to show the damaged areas...they look 500x better when clean.
