I just wanted to pass along some information on a new CF offering for Proteges.
I was recently ordering a CF hood for my Prelude and the owner mentioned that they made hoods for Proteges as well (since he saw that I owned a Speed).

How Does A Carbon Fibre Hood work?

A 5th Gen prelude hood is approximately 13lbs (OEM/Stock hood is around 40lbs).
A 5th Gen prelude hood is the biggest hood we have. Therefore, a CF hood pulls vehicles, which have engines in the front, close to a 50/50 weight distribution for optimal handling balance (especially for a front-wheel-drive Prelude).
Also, Gemini CF hoods are much stronger than an OEM hoods. A piece of Carbon fibre hood is 15 times stronger than a piece of steel (both have same weight). Therefore, a 10lbs CF hood is around 3.5-4 times stronger than a 40lbs steel hood .
Do I need hood pins for these?
