well my friend just checked the blue book for a private sale on his mp3 with 46K miles and it was 10,800. So i think you could get away with a good deal if it was a private sale.

there was the dealer in TX that was selling them for ~$16k. do a search and the dealer's name should come up.

I believe it's Mazda South in Austin, TX or Roger Beasley Mazda..one of the two.

You'll have to work them down at Mazda South - Premier Mazda in Georgetown is where I got mine - paid $16.5 + ttl

This really sux because I got mine last Saturday in November with $2000 customer cash, 17,775 is what we paid. But really would have like that 0% for 60 months. Anyone know how that goes with buying the day before this new offer? Will Mazda just say too bad?

Someone can easily walk away with a steal. Be sure to remind them that this needs to go cause of the mazda 3. A little dealer against dealer negotiations and some one may get one for 14500. It is possible. My p5 was a steal.

It actually won't change the out the door pricing much, because Mazda did away with the $500 factory to dealer incentive they had on the car.

What it will do, though, is make it an easier sale- you won't have to negotiate over that factory to dealer incentive- most dealers will initially try to hide that from you and keep it for themselves.

Invoice on the car is $19,547. You should be able to get the car for close to that, less rebate, so right about $17k is a good price. $500 less if you qualify for the additional college rebate. There is a little holdback and other stuff the dealer can play with, so its possible you might be able to knock it down a little more still if you found the right dealer.

Mazda will say too bad.

$17,775 is $200 over invoice less the rebate. You didn't get a bad deal at the time.
