I woke up today and i walked out side to go to work and somebody majorly keyed my car all the way down the passenger side.. DAMN I WANNA KILL SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have and enemys up here, I'm fairly new to Ft leonard wood. I guess somebody just decided that I didn't deserve such a nice car. Freaking dickweeds!!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I came outta work about a month ago -- and someone decided that they didn't like my MSP, and bashed in the front right fender. It was at too weird of an angle to be a 'bumped into' incident. It really looked like someone hit it with a baseball bat or somethin' along those lines.

Set up some Rottweilers or something around your MSP, and have 'em eat any fuckers than come within 10 feet. It's what I'm thinkin' of doing.

The Rotts sound like a good idea. I just hope that because it was on a millitary installation that the government will pay for it like they say they will. Millitary Police Investigations is "looking into it" so we'll see.....

Just a few tidbits on advice, with the whole military angle ..

My boyfriend's in the military, so I know what they can be like to deal with. They can be HUGE assholes. But if you push them and act as hard-headed as they do sometimes, they'll get you results. So if they try to blow you off, or try to postpone the issue until they THINK you've forgotten about it .. don't let 'em get away with it. Don't let the issue slack off, and they should take care of you.

Y'might want to think about asking them if they had any security cameras around the area, where your car was when it was keyed. You know how paranoid the military is these days.

Get a baby monitor, place it under your car seat and put the reciever in your bed room or whatever. You can also buy small cameras at Target for like 60 bucks and hook it up to a vcr or t.v., I have mine hooked up to a vcr recording in the bedroom with a t.v. so I can check on it at all times.

here's and update.............. I now have my buddy in Millitary Police Investigations working on my case... my buddys from the Traffic section came by work tonight took pics of my car and took sworn statements from me... and gave them to my friend in MPI. I have to go tomorrow morning to the MPI office and we're going to do more stuff like talk to JAG and see if the government is going to pay b/c it happened on a millitary installation....

Sorry to hear about your car...that really sucks big time...I can totally relate. When I got my '01 ES, someone keyed it all the way around within the first month of ownership. They keyed 3 out of 4 quarter panels. It was a random act of vandalism as I had no enemies at the time. At least I got a nice check from the insurance company. I just wound up polishing the scratches and filling them with some touch-up paint using a toothpick to apply it.

I actually setup a webcam to face out at our covered spot, setup to stream online and record. This was after someone broke into it just looking for engines to steal.
