2003 vs. 2004

are there any differences between the 03 and 04 mazda 6's? (i THINK they were released as 2003s??). my parents are looking at getting one...or an accord or an altima, so i have to find reasons to get them to buy the 6.

Thats an easy one, the accord is ugly and the ultima is the most unmotivatingly bland design for a car aside form the lumina. The tail lights are lame too.

hehehe...yeah, it's for my mom...she likes the accord for the options and comfort, but doesn't like the styling. she likes the altima for the power. she likes the 6, but doesn't like the seats!?!?! i guess she wants something a little more cushy?? i dunno. i told her to go take another look at the 6 and told her NOT to get the accord.

If she doesn't find the car comfortable, then why push her to get the 6?
She's a big girl and can make her own decisions.

Im loving the new TSX... tell her to check those out... a little more pricey, but they look sick.

Yeah, the TSX is hot...I had a deposit on a one of them (blue, 6-speed w/o navigation) before I got the MSP.

the TSX is a very nice little car...sadly, i don't think she wants to spend that much.

TSX is ok. I'd take a Mazda 6 over it.

I thought the V6 Accord (the body style before the new body style) was a pretty nice car, the new ones are kind of BLAH.

Seeing that you're in Canada, I'm going to add a bit of local info.

Canada does not have a 2003 Mazda6, all of ours are '04's. However, there was a mid-year change with the changes that Necessity noted. Dealers in Toronto have both pre-refresh and post-refresh models so they're both readily available (though you obviously can't factory order a pre-refresh model anymore).

Get a Mazda6 over Accord or Altima.
