hey, i just turned up my boost the other day from stock to 10. now im at about 7-8 until my FCD comes in due to the cold. but i was wandering if you guys were getting as poor of traction in first in second gears now as i am. i mean, at a role in first gear, ill punch it and be totally lose by 5000rpms, shift to second and its just as bad? maybe i just need some better tires, what would be a better tire to help with traction problems?? god, i cant wait to see what it does with 10+!!!
thanks

I have had this problem since I got flashed. I'm not kidding. traction is bad. Even in 2nd gear, without trying, I can put the pedal down and once that turbo kicks in....no traction.

My boost is stock. Strange huh

LOL!

Yeah, with the boost turned up to 9 psi, in 1st gear with the clutch fully engaged at WOT, the tires break loose above 5000 RPM.

yeah, i guess i shouldnt be complaining!!! i do like the power, i just dont wanna toast my tires anymore than i have to. they've only got 8100 on them, and its almost time for a new set!!

most of it for me anyway is due to the tires being cold it does seem to get a little better once they warm up a bit.

WTF, why doesn't my car do this? My car gets slower after 5k. It's impossible for me to break the tires completely loose to - even when they're cold. And I've noticed that they do have far worse grip when cold but they still don't lose grip under acceleration.

Yep same problem. My looses traction a lot sooner than my friends msp which has spool springs.

Lower center of gravity, more traction. Check out me below, 2 wheel motion baby.
