I bought a Autometer Phantom boost gauge with an Autometer Carbon Fiber cup.
What color is the wire under the sterring column for the 12V?
Thanks!

I used the black one with the stripe (I think) I would check it with a meter. However this means it will be on whenever the ignition is on. I would go off of the parking light wire but I couldn't find it.

There is a green wire with a black stripe under the steering column on a plug just to the left. That's illumination (parking/headlights) switch. So when you turn on you lights on at night, your gauge light will turn on. Hope this helps!:D

Well, the install is done. It looks kick ass!! The gauge matches the stock ones and the carbon fiber cup matches the stock CF trim. I mounted it on the A pillar. I had to drill holes, but I did not care because the A-pillar is easily replaceable if I ever want to remove the gauge. I highly recommend the gauge CUP over ANYTHING else and it's a lot cheaper too. The plain black cup only cost $13 at jegs.com. The CF one cost $25.
I used the nylon hose that came with the gauge. After doing research, the nylon is actually stronger. The only bad thing is that it MIGHt kink, but it's stronger than rubber so if you think that rubber is better because that's what the car has, you are wrong. The car has rubber vacuum lines because it is CHEAPER.
