bypass valve

does a bypass valve even work for CAI's or does water still leak in??? i heard from some people that it doesn't even work...

dang, and here i thought my car was so damn good it could walk on water!

I've been too chicken to put CAIs on my MSP or Maxima. I drive through a lot of low water crossings and have heard too many horror stories of destroying engines with one small sip.
