Looks cool, but it's insanely expensive for a MBC.

Yeah, a $200 MBC is really no different than a $50 MBC. Just save up another $100 and get an electronic boost controller, ie. Profec B Spec II, http://store.yahoo.com/supra/greddyprofecb.html

yeah...way too expensive....and EBCs are far more accurate - it's my understanding that they constantly check & adjust boost pressure, thus preventing spiking.
