yes that is the only color they light up, i tried to get red but they don't make the mazda ones in that color,

the rears don't light up because there is not enough room to fit that el lamp on, im pretty sure they could make a smaller lamp but then it won't be proportional and will look dumb

if your in calgary i could probably install them for like 10 bux, takes me around 30 mins for EL (5 seconds for NEL), if you go to the dealer expect them to charge you 50 something lol

if you get the EL ones i recommend you get a fuse with a 5amp rating,

too hook these up you need to connect the red wire to the battery + terminal (w/ inline fuse, opt.) and - to the door lock switch, you can either splice into the lock itself or go to the wire under the dash, i get pictures up later when i get home from work

Hey all.....

If you want them in red and paint well you can use the clear red model paint sold at Hobby shops.... If I get thses that is what I am going to do.......

ah a guy in edmonton had them installed at a dealership and they didnt light up right for like the first three sets and he finally got some good ones!!! just some lemons he figures or the dealership was a lemon!!!lol

if there is a faulty one i can send it back to the dealer, i have once before with a bad transformer replaced it right away but i can't refund you any shipping charges

I believe the EL sills would just splice into the door jamb switch that activates the interior lights when you open the door. I may be wrong, but that seems like the best idea to me. Shouldn't be too hard!!

quick question. i would want the stamped.. non-light up sills with protege5 on it. is the $55 for 4 sills [2 longk, 2 short] or just the front sills... and.. these simply are 3M'd right on top of the stock sills right?

does anyone know if the DGM CF sills replace the stock sills, or do they stick right on top?

installation is easy, it will take about 15~30 mins depends on your skill :D
anyway, it's good to get fuse tap and hook it up with door sills and it looks more nice and clean ;)
