i think it is either the jic 505S SUS/ST exhaust w/ ss piping and a ss/titanium muffler.

How much money are you looking to spend? 'Cause if you're brave, you could replace all of the piping with titanium piping, and the muffler with a titanium muffler... That should save you a chunk of weight. =) Otherwise, just remove the resonator, and replace it with straight stainless to a nice, light muffler.

Ahhhm... I have no idea. =) The whole exhaust would probably weigh eight pounds, though, so you'd lose a good deal of weight. My guess is between 600 - 1200, depending on where/what size piping/other plumbing.

I don't think they make any of them for our cars except the Bullet 505 SUS and the Spartan Type 1.
No full titanium. You can get the titanium canisters, but not full piping...From what I could find at least...
EDIT: here's a link so you can get an idea of prices.

Yeah, I didn't find anyone who actually sold a full cat back... You'd have to get it custom made, for sure, but that's usually cheaper, anyway. =)

If you're looking for lightest it would probably have to be custom. I think the ones out in the market aren't very light at all. Or if you could stand the noise just remove it completely :D (prob not smog legal)

My exhaust weighed 26lbs in the box. so I would say it is the lightest. I would say the box weighed almost 3-5 lbs. Jic Magic kicks ass.

lightest exhaust is aluminium from front to back....but it corrodes. and the fact that the by product of a catalytic converter is water....they dont last long. aluminium is a lighter metal than titanium....about 40% lighter

aluminum does not "corrode" (technically it does).... if aluminum corrodes from water, how come we have aluminum alloy wheels? the only corrosion aluminum has is the "protective" film that prevents corrosion like iron would in the first place... the film is removed when abrassion from some force is applied... scratching it, rubbing it, or even chemically... it's called acid... shit in the exhaust system isn't exactly pH balanced... the acidic shit is what will eat out the film and "rust" it out... NOT water

alloy wheels. you answered your own question.

uh huh... and in order to make aluminum structrually supporting, you MUST make it an alloy... you've got to be really stupid to make an exhaust system from AL 1199... it'll be too weak to handle any metal working, not to mention any of the stresses that it will receive once it's on the car

yep. they put all kinda crap in aluminium to make it strong and to make it last, but most other metals dont go over 10%...

i think spool can do stuff with titanium. might wanna email them and see what they can do about a titanium exhaust.
