I have seen several TT install how to's on this board, and none of them are for a P5. The ignition harness is different on the P5, can anyone please help me with what wires to use for the TT. Thanks alot!!

There are 2 BLK/WHT wires, one BLK/RED, Blue, BLK. Someone please help, Im trying to install this now. I thought our wires were the same and now I have the steering columb torn apart.

yea im bringing this post back from the dead...ive got two questions:

1) im good on the ecu hookup (makes sense anyhow), but i have not seen anyone mention a gray wire i have coming out of the turbo timer? what does it go to if anything?
2) i see what you are saying...here:
BLACK=12V
BLUE=IGNITION#1
BLACK/RED=IGNITION#2
BLACK/WHITE=ACC.

now is that the colors of the wires in the ignition harness? so i would hook up the black wire on my harness up to a ground somewhere, obviously, the red wire to the 12V (which is black on the harness???), and the blue to the ignition? (which one i thought there were two blue wires, how can you tell if you dont have a voltmeter?) and then i presume the green goes to the acc (which is black/white on the ignition harness?)?

so...(little table here):

wire from TT ... goes to

red ... black wire on ignition harness (12V)
green ... blue wire closest to guage cluster (ignition)
black ... ground (duh)
blue ... black/white wire on ignition (acc)?

i think that makes more sense than my last post.

im doing this tonight ill let you know how it goes lol...do you have to setup the speed sensor? (in case i run out of day light that is the most consuming wire to pull out the ecu and whatnot)

maybe this is why people are having a hard time with their greddy turbo timers...

Speed Sensor, orange or green/red, N/A, pin 58 on ECM
i also found that the pin 58 was green/red, and it is on the THIRD row, several from the left...i hope im hooking into the right one.
