Does anyone else have this when I boost and let off the gas right before I boost and vacuum I feel a studder like it drops off almost like the car doesn't know what to do should I boost or not. will this hurt the turbo

Since I cranked up the boost, and went with a catless downpipe, I've noticed something similar. If I let off the gas, as the engine is transitioning over to boost, I get a hard jarring shudder. Can't be real good for the drive train. I'm not sure why the car does this. I don't recall this happening in my other turbo cars.

I'm half tempted to put my Volvo BPV on the MSP to see if this fixes the problem. I'm kinda thinking it may have something to do with the less then perfect stock BPV.
Just a hunch, guess, stab in the dark....

I agree that it could very well be the BPV. I had similar issues with my turbo until the BOV was "tuned" correctly. Kind of feels like someone who can't work a stick shift, just not that severe. With my BOV screaming it was greatly improved. The rest is probably the stock mounts. My 2 cents.

I get the same studder if I let of off gas at around 3.8k-4k rpm. This is when the switch over of the open/closed loop maps happends in our ECUS.
