This is actually in Montana. I'm going to school in Butte. They still don't have snow back home.

Now... about those snow tires...

Yep...looks like your stocks are on! :p

Looks like you'll be calling a tow truck to get your car to a tire shop if that snow doesn't melt :D

we just got hit today too for the 1st time. I put my winters on last night.....talk about close call. We got 5-10 cm today, blowing winds, just plain....crappy

Came out this morning though, and I tell ya, I was even more convinced that I bought the right color. The titanium in the snow is cool looking. the paint against white has yet another shade to it, and I love it. Once I get my camera I'll have to clean her and and take some shots.

Also, putting the steelies on last night I expected the car to look really crappy as every other car and color I've had with steelies did. Ok, yes it still looks like crap compared to the RH's, but I was amazed that it really didn't look as bad as I thought. The black looks half decent against the titanium

Anyhow man....get those winters, your going to need them

You can get the genuine Mazda P5 car cover from Mazdaformance:

http://www.mazdaformance.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=0000-8J-J01&Category_Code=750

It's only $93.75 & an extra $8.50 for the cable lock. I have both (although I paid nearly twice that) & I can guarantee that it fits (covers everything but the bottom 1/2 of the wheels & the rear lip).

Oh, & what's snow? :p

Mark Spark- I do have a cover. However, it doesn't fit as snug as the wind would require it to be so it just blows off. They way the weather seems to work here is that the winds pick up like a badass and then the snow follows. I'm in the process of trying to get a buddy to let me rent his garage until I graduate and move to Denver (in December)

Alaska P5- If you saw one of my other posts here, I'm going to school in Butte, Montana. That's where the pic is from. Got word it was raining in ANC yesterday. BTW, How about the Aces this year? Looks like the switch to the ECHL is doing some good.

Is that cover custom designed to fit over the wing & if so, which wing (03 or 03.5)?

It is great to see the aces finally winning,,, Maybe it was the change of name that did it...

Are you coming back to AK this summer with your car??? I would love to see a speed in person!!:)

FrozenMazda

I'm hoping to for at least a week or two. I'll have some time between finishing training and actually starting "work" so I may take the ferry up to Seward and drive up to ANC. If I do that, I'll be sure to let you know.

I lived in Indiana till I was 3, thank god we moved! I don't see the point of living up North and dealing with crappy weather like that 9 months of the year.

Here the worst he get is an Huricane everyonce in awhile, that rarely do a damn thing. We wear shorts in the summer, enjoy the beach. We wear a light coat in the winter. No snow, blizzards sleet, etc. Just a little rain.
