...I've done all the searches on this Topic, but haven't found a situation where someone has gotten this fixed via a TSB.

Does anybody know? - Damn, my car is Hideously Loud, and it's only going to get worse as the temperature continues to drop.

The squeak is normal on the MSP and MP3 in the cold....now the clunck has a tsb

Let's all complain to our dealers.
Now that it's getting cold, we need to do something about it.

Yep, I agree. This is not supposed to be a bitch Thread, but a constructive Thread to perhaps find a remedy to the Crunching.

As for Normal?....well intially Mazda said the rear-clunk was normal, my hesitiation was normal, the pulling to the right was normal, and on and on.

Crunching when it's -30...well sure, most cars will. But when it's like, 10 degrees or colder, it's just Damn bad.

I just wanted to point out that the noise ( creaks ) in the front happens on both cars.....I normally do not drive my cars in the winter so it does not bother me....I did have my dealer look at the creaks and the can remove the bushings add a little lube and it goes away....like the clunck it will come back only on cold days

Not to take away the power of complaining ( thanks NEWF for the clunck )...I just do not see the creaks in the same league as the clunck....the creaks go away when the car is warm...the clunck never did.

True about the temperature. But, actually the Crunching is far worse a noise than my Clunking at it's worse. It actually sounds like my car is going to fall apart. Can it be fixed by simply replacing the Poly-U front bushings (for which this sound is normal in colder temperatures)?

I just want to inform everyone this is not a rear-clunk Thread....

TQ steer is normal for a FWD car. Its annoying but cant do much about it. Either that or you have an alignment problem which can be fixed.

squeak is not normal; it can be fixed too.

with new front bushings and some sort of lube. half decent dealerships should know this and fix it without a problem. Granted, it will only last approx 9mos.;)

scott42: 9 months is better than nothing; I'll pursue this route I guess. Has anyone else done this and had mild-to-good success in supressing the Crunching sound?

KyRaceFan: Long story short, I'm scheduled for a wheel alignment.

With Urethane bushings the squeaks and crunching sounds are normal. The same thing happened when I installed Urethane bushings on my Mustang. It's just the nature of the beast.

The only thing you can do, or have done is lube them. I use Lithium grease on the contact surfaces. I've also used a type of silicone lube with some success. The problem is, you need to keep applying it because it wears off over time.

I'm going to develop a system that lubes both front and back bushings with the touch of a button...I'd be a millionaire!!!

Well...I'm sure you'd think differently living in a cold-winter climate.
