I saw a whole site the other day(don't think it was posted here) devoted to the souping up of Kia's line of cars. Most of them were realistic about it tho....one guy said something along the lines of how even after he fixed it up, he'd still be slower than the base models of almost any car out there. And yes some were into looks only...which means even slower performance! :D

i don't see why ANYONE would want to hook up a kia, but to each their own...there is a focus around here with jap. lettering, and a huge akimoto racing sticker.

Hey if you go back in time like 15 years with almost any modded up car from nowadays, most people would think you're nuts.

Geez...we never see much in Cincinnati. I have only seen about a dozen or so modded cars in the last year. That's pretty lame for a 2+ million metropolitan area.

Indy seems to be a haven for punk kids playing in cars "mommy and daddy" bought them. The TVs in headrests and DVD player thing is a common sight around here. Not too sure what all these people do for a living, but I can guarantee I chose the wrong profession.
Tons of Honduhs and inAcuras around all riced out. It sure would be nice to see a day when a japanese car doesn't have a silver wing the size of a top alcohol funny car on it. Damn those things look stupid.

Hey keep in mind that one person(no names mentioned) does have a huge wing on their MP3....ugh in my opinion that thing looks like crap compared to our nice stock spoiler.

I saw an aqua Ford Festiva rollin' on 14s today. It was also jacked up about 12" in the back. The price of custom wheels & suspension tripled the value of the car.

I think it's funny when I see domestic cars with "Import Sports" stickers on them.

I think, "Hmm, how many Cavaliers are 'imported' for 'sports'??"

And why does a shop named "Import Sports" have parts for a not very import sport car??

The Chevy Cavalier is neither an import nor a sport, discuss.

Uggggh, I saw a riced up echo too. Blue nipple lights (nozzle lights), big huge exhaust tip with what sounds like a punctured resonator (really raspy crappy sound), those aluminum "touring wings", TOM's decals, and what's worst, those stock bicycle rims!!! NASTY. He stopped next to me on a stoplight, and started revving up, omg!!!! I didn't even give him the dignity of running him. It's an ECHO for god-sakes! I didnt' even mention all those neon lights inside, it was like it's an UFO, it was glowing blue! Thank God it didn't have an underbody neon kit, I'd have to go over and whack in the head!

your right an Echo would look F-ugly with all that sh%$ on it, with the way the body style looks but hey don't cap on the performance of the echo it's pretty damm peppy as a Civic EX or Lx and it's only a 1.5liter. Here's it's performance http://www.autosite.com/new/grabbag/perform/2901.asp
